Juvenile arthritis and hair loss
#1
Juvenile arthritis is a form of arthritis that affects children under the age of 16. Hair loss can be a side effect of certain medications used to treat juvenile arthritis, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and corticosteroids. In some cases, hair loss may also be a symptom of the underlying condition causing the arthritis. If you or your child is experiencing hair loss and you suspect it may be related to juvenile arthritis or its treatment, it is best to consult with a doctor. They can determine the cause and recommend appropriate treatment options.
