A psoriatic arthritis flare-up refers to a temporary increase in symptoms, such as joint pain, swelling, and inflammation. The following are some common signs of a psoriatic arthritis flare-up:

  1. Joint pain and swelling: Pain, tenderness, and swelling in one or more joints can indicate a flare-up.
  2. Stiffness: Increased joint stiffness, especially in the morning, can be a sign of a flare-up.
  3. Skin symptoms: Flare-ups of psoriatic skin symptoms, such as red, scaly patches, can also indicate a flare-up of psoriatic arthritis.
  4. Fatigue: Increased fatigue or feeling more tired than usual can also be a sign of a flare-up.
